What is a Sightjog.nl Tour?

This is a city tour of approximately 8,5 km (5.35 miles) that takes place running through the streets of the dutch city of your choice. It is guided by an experienced dutch runner, who will, while running, describe the history, relevant places and events that take place in this city. At this moment we offer 9 different Tours in 3 cities. It is also possible to customize each tour according to hotel location and the distance that you would like to run.

How long does the Tour last?

The Standard tours of 8,5 km (5.35 miles) last approximately 1-1.15 hour. The time of the customized Tours can change according to the pace of the client and the delay of the transportation to the starting point if needed.

Do I have to book my Sightjog in advance?

Yes, the sooner you book the better it is, in order to round up the details of the tour, tours fill up quickly in summer. Depending on availability, we will also be able to organise more tours on the same day.

How do I confirm my booking and get details of my Sightjog?

The booking will be completed by sending us the form in our website with all the required information, or by contacting us by phone (+31) 620442667. If you do it by mail, we'll confirm by email. After confirmation you receive payment details, when the Tour is fully payed your reservation is secure.

Are there more people in the Jog?

When you have booked a customized Tour there is only you or your party in the Tour.

How much does the Sightjog cost?

The Customised Jogs cost 30 EUR for one person.

Are there discounts available?

No sorry, at our customised Jogs we can't offer any discounts.

Do I have to sign a disclaimer or waiver form?

Yes. You sign a disclaimer before the tour starts, with our tourguide or online while booking.

Where do I meet my Jog Guide?

You will meet your guide at the place described in your booking information. This can be an easy to reach place in the city like a specified tube station or center square. Our guides run with a company t-shirt, therefore you will be able to recognize them easily.

What happens if there is bad weather?

If the tour should be cancelled due to bad weather, we offer to rebook it for another day or to cancel the tour with no cost. However, this is only when there will be an official weather alarm by the dutch KNMI, so not when it rains because that' s one of the charms of Holland!

Wich is the longest distance I can run?

There is no limit, but you have to make your booking with enough time for us to organize it when you want a real long run :-)

Can I run at any time?

You can run at any time, when you contact us we schedule a time that suits you best.
